WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY IN PROVENCE FOR THE EFFORTLESSLY IN LOVE

Hey, I’m Emma! Thank you so much clicking onto my little corner of the internet! I’m an English-speaking wedding photographer based in the South of France, and love photographing wedding in the Provence region. I really enjoy photographing couples who value honest and real moments. I’m a natural people-watcher and I love a good party, so weddings are therefore my favourite setting! My photos are inspired by real emotions, laughter, tears and the occasional messy dance floor.

I truly believe that your most treasured wedding photos will happen when you’re fully embracing the moment and not worrying about the camera. So, if you promise to stay present with your favourite people, I promise to authentically capture the memories you’ll hold onto forever.

‘TIMELESS PHOTOS ARE NOT ABOUT STYLE, THEY ARE ABOUT FEELING’

Destination Wedding Photographer for Provence Weddings

I live in the South of France so Provence is just a stones throw away. My couples are mainly English-speaking couples who want a gallery bursting full of relaxed, beautiful photographs. Provence isn’t just about the gorgeous scenery, lavender fields and stunning sunsets. It’s also about incredible wine, unforgettable moments and spending unhurried time with family and friends. I love to capture this all and more as your wedding photographer.

“EMMA! THESE PHOTOS ARE INSANE.”

Authentic wedding photography in Provence for couples who want their day captured naturally, without posing or pressure

Your wedding in France is about so much more than aesthetics. It’s a day full of emotions, moments and shared experiences with those you love the most.

Many couples choose Provence not just for its stunning setting, but for its slower pace, multi-day celebrations, intentional moments and the chance to create something that feels truly meaningful.

Weddings move fast. One moment you’re walking down the aisle, the next you’re on the dance floor wondering how the day flew by so fast. Moments blending into one beautiful blur… and not just because of the Champagne!

The most meaningful wedding photographs are rarely planned. They come from unexpected emotions, spontaneity and most importantly the couple being fully present. These are the moments that often become the most important to my couples, because they’re real. And let’s be honest, some of your favourite photos will be the ones you weren’t aware were being taken.

I don’t believe in forced posing or interrupting the flow of your day. You won’t be dragged away from your guests for hours or asked to recreate moments. Any time spent away from your day should feel effortless and natural. Often, I’ll suggest a quiet moment around sunset to capture a few photos of just the two of you, but always in a way that feels true to who you are, with no awkward smiles required. “Booking Emma as our wedding photographer was hands down the best decision we made…We not only recommend that you book her, but we highly encourage it, you won’t be disappointed!”

NEED TO KNOW

GETTING MARRIED IN PROVENCE?

There are so many incredible reasons to have a destination wedding in Provence. Provence is the epitome of relaxed elegance and is also home to some of the most romantic chateau’s and domaine’s in France. It is so easy to see why so many engaged couples choose to plan their wedding here.

Provence and the surrounding regions are also wonderfully accessible for guests travelling from the UK and beyond. Nice, Marseille and Montpellier Airports all offer year around flights to and from the UK, whilst Nice Airport also has direct flights to the US. Making Provence an ideal destination for couples planning weddings that feel easy and welcoming.

As a documentary wedding photographer, whether you are planning an intimate wedding in Provence or a vibrant, joy-filled celebration, this is one of my favourite regions to capture. The light, the atmosphere and slower pace of wedding days all lend themselves to natural and emotion led photography.

The most popular time to get married in Provence is from late May to September. Early summer is perfect for couples wanting long sunny days and the iconic lavender fields that typically bloom in late June/early July. September and October are my favourite months for weddings in Provence, especially for couples who want beautiful golden light but with slightly fewer crowds and gentler heat.
