Provence Wedding Photography
An Intimate, Relaxed Wedding in Provence, France | Real Wedding Story
Photographing weddings in Provence will always be special. The beautiful countryside creates a perfect backdrop for couples who value real moments and connecting with their family and friends. As a result beautiful and meaningful moments unfold naturally and effortlessly. These moments will not only reflect the day exactly as it happens but also become treasured memories.
As a documentary photographer, Zoë and Joel’s Provence wedding was an absolute dream to capture. The warm early October light created the most beautiful backdrop for their relaxed, domaine wedding. From the very beginning, being able to fully enjoy the day without interruption was incredibly important to them. Therefore when choosing a wedding photographer they wanted someone who could capture their day effortlessly and authentically. On the day I arrived early to photograph all the little moments of them and their guests getting ready, which really set the scene for the day ahead. As the day unfolded they remained fully present with their family and friends, soaking up every moment .Later in the day, we only briefly sneaked away to spend around 15 minutes wondering the grounds of the Domaine. During this time we created a few meaningful photos of them together before returning to get the party underway.
This beautiful wedding in Provence perfectly exemplifies why I love documenting weddings in a candid, relaxed way. Above all, I love telling the story of the day as it really happens rather than directing every moment. Scroll through to see how these genuine moments, big and small, came together to create memories they’ll treasure forever.
